Iako Monika balansira treninge,dijetu,gimnasticke vezbe i druge obaveze,zena u njoj je i vise nego ziva.Obozava visoke pete
 kojih ima mnostvo u ormarima.Odrasla je u Texasu.Jahala je konje.Takodje ima prefinjen ukus za muziku,ali posto je iz Texasa
 mesta ima i za kantri muziku.Sada zivi u Kaliforniji u kuci sa puno cveca i trofeja.Ona ima ugovor sa Universalom sa kojim je
 veoma zadovoljna.

Monika kaze......
Kada nisam na dijeti,jedem ono sto zelim,ali ne preterujem.Na dijeti za takmicenje budem 12nedelja.Sada sama radim te planove,
ali sam radila godinama sa razlicitim ljudima i naucila sta deluje.Sve u pokusajima i greskama.Trenutno jedem oko 2000cal,i oko
160-220gr proteina.Neposredno pred takmicenje kalorije su na oko 1400.Kuhinja mi je uvek puna kvalitetnog protein praha i
suplemenata.Multivitamini,sredstva za oslobadjanje hormona rasta,glukosamin i sagorevaci,deo su njenog arsenala.Nakon
sto pojede obrok i odgovarajuce suplemente ide na trening u Golds gym,gde nikada nema dosade jer je u drustvu sa
Cormierom,Melvinom,Timeom i ostalima.

Monika ne trenira da bi bila ogromna ili ultra definisana,draza joj misicavost,ali zenstvena.Mislim da je idealno za zene imati
9-12 %telesnih masti.Nekada sam na takmicenja izlazila i sa 6%,sada ne idem tako nisko.Nije normalna takva vitkost i ne zelim
ljudima dati utisak da bi tako trebali izgledati.Sa druge strane casopisi puni saveta devojaka mrsavih kao prutici koje savetuju
dijete gde cele godine jedu samo posni sir,voce i jogurt.To me uzasno frustrira.

Evo ja cu sada da narucim belo meso sa belancima,brokoli,kukuruzne tortilje i avokado.Osim ovog treninga u gymu idem raditi i
gimnastiku u sali ,ali doduse mnogo manje no ranije.Redovno radim i intervalne kardio treninge koji traju od 30do 60min u
zavisnosti da li sam pre toga bila na gimnastici..Moram biti u formi jer posao to trazi.Moram se dobro organizovati.Ponekad mi je
dosta putovanja,pakovanja i raspakivanja.S druge strane zabavno je i zanimljivo upoznavati ljude.
Pa na kraju svaki posao ima dobre i lose strane.

How did you find out you made the invite list?
ISAAC HINDS! He is sooo fast!

Does this change your meal plans for Christmas?
Well, I’ll just have to make sure I get in my cardio and workouts… Since I am sitting around 133lbs right now it shouldn’t be too much to bring it on down for stage by end of FEB!

Not that it matters but what are you usually on stage?
Well… Since there isn’t ever a scale backstage to step on prior to stage. It is really hard for me to know EXACTLY! I typically leave the house before water depletion around 127/8.

Ah piece of cake then.

What made you decide to come back to the competition stage?
Just for the record… I have never told anyone that I retired. All statements made are rumors and speculations! Seriously, it has never come out of my mouth that I was retired. I realize I mentioned that IF I was to place lower than 3rd at the 07 Olympia we would consider me retiring… But after that placing of 7th - I still never told anyone that I retired!

I was invited to the AC in 08 — but was unable to perform do to some issues with my endorsement at the time. Then I wasn’t qualified for the Olympia based on my ‘07 placings.

Otherwise, being on stage is also a great platform for my business stuff! I will be having some exciting news next year to share with fans. What do you say to those who say you’re time has passed and should stop competing?
Whatever! Ha! Ha! I don’t buy it…And everyone has an opinion! I am sure the people that are saying that aren’t competitors. Keep in mind I am using the stage as a platform, I really haven’t ever expected to win! I figured it out back in 2003… I do it for the gazillion fans that are asking me, on a continual basis, to get back on stage!

What can fans expect to see from Mo in Columbus?

Kvadricepsi su mi puno razvijeniji od bicepsa nogu. Neko mi je u teretani predlozio da na bicepsima nogu radim
pre cucnjeva i noznog potiska. Je li to dobra ideja, ili cu se izloziti vecem riziku od povreda? Mozete li mi predloziti
nesto drugo?

"Neki ljudi vjeruju da je redosled vezbi vazan, a drugi su uvereni u suprotno. Ako prvo radite na slabijem dijelu tela,
imate vise energije i snage za vezbanje. Mozete ovu tehniku primenjivati tokom sest nedelja i otkrite koristi li vam.
Licno sam pokusala menjati redosled vezbi i nisam primetila veliku razliku osim sto sam u treninge unela raznolikost.
Jos jedna mogucnost jest da promenite intenzitet vezbanja. Predlazem vam da nastavite raditi na kvadricepsima, ali
ne istim jakim intenzitetom, zatim ucinite sve sto mozete u vezi s bicepsima nogu. Na primer, na bicepsima radim s
vecim tezinama, nego na tricepsima jer smatram da su mi bicepsi slabiji.
Jos jedna stvar koja je meni koristila jest licni trener koji mi je pomagao da se fokusiram na slabiji deo. Dok sam se
pripremala za  Fitness Olympija, radila sam s trenerom samo na nogama i ledima. To su bili moji problematicni misici i
drugo mi je misljenje zaista pomoglo. Sami mozemo dosta napraviti, ali ne sve. Mozda biste mogli unajmiti pomoc
licnog trenera da vam pomogne s problemom bicepsa nogu, jednom sedmicno tokom dva meseca. Dozivjet cete
dobre treninge i nauciti nove vezbe.
