sta ce od ovoga biti.....mozda nova americka prohibicja.....hehehheheheh..dobr za nas ....EU rulles..
ali posto se i ovi uvlace u bulju glupim amerima...ne bi me cudlo da sledeci korak FDA naredi zemljama eu ovu istu stvar....
Bob Lee, district attorney of Santa Cruz, Ca. sued 74 vitamin supplement distribution and manufacturing companies following demands from 8 different counties to stop inmidiated sales of supplements containing lead, without customer warnings on their labels.
This law suit was initiated on December 2008 by general attorney Edmund G. Brown Jr. in the Supreme Court of Alameda county accusing such companies of not following Proposal 65 (Safe Drinking Water & Toxic Enforcement Act) of 1986 that endorsed warning labels on products containing toxic or cancerigenous substances.
The D.A. is demanding $2.500 for each day that this law is violated and products are still on sale. The laws of the State of California stipulates that any manufacturing or distributing company must "clearly and reasonably warn" customers before exposing them to chemical products that the state has declared toxic or cancerigenous.
According to the law suit, lead is highly toxic for the human organism and its able, in very small doses to cause severe damages on the nervous system, specially children.
Violations to this law were discovered once the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) published the results of analysis practiced on different minerals and vitamins supplements, some of which, according to the FDA presented excessive levels of lead.
